Most items are able to be equipped by your character and you can expect bonuses ranging from nothing to fantastical advantages.

Equipment is broken up into several categories:

Tools

Items that enhance your ability to perform various tasks

Weapons

Items that enhance your damage output in combat and or m

Armor

Items that enhance your ability to perform various tasks along with modifying the damage you take
